Richard Cunningham started Blendery to create value in the online marketplace by combining different web based services into new products. For example, Blendery managed the development of ActevaRSVP, combining Acteva's online registration service with Salesforce.com. Blendery also developed AppWidgets for StrikeIron, blending their business intelligence and address verification services with Salesforce.

Richard co-founded ASO.com, listing aircraft for sale online, in 1995. He designed the site on the principle that buyers should get to the aircraft they're looking for as simply and quickly as possible. He devised a means for the buyer to send a lead to the aircraft seller through ASO, even if the seller didn't have e-mail.
